From the BLS: Job Openings and Labor Turnover Abstract
The variety of job openings was little modified at 7.2 million in March, the U.S. Bureau of Labor
Statistics reported at this time. Over the month, hires held at 5.4 million, and whole separations modified little at
5.1 million. Inside separations, quits (3.3 million) have been unchanged and layoffs and discharges
(1.6 million) edged down.
